Allison has her Bachelors in Psychological and Brain Sciences and Masters in Counseling. She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach and combines her clinical background with her experience and passion for fitness. Allison has spent years working as a mental health therapist, and she brings that same care for what actually helps people change: not just their bodies, but how they see and treat themselves along the way. She's competed in bikini bodybuilding herself, so she understands what the process really asks of you, physically and emotionally.
Professionally, she started in therapy, but fitness has been a passion of hers for a long time. She started working out in college, spent several years teaching herself, and eventually hired a coach of her own before stepping onto a competition stage for the first time. Along the way, working with clients through trauma, anxiety, and burnout taught her how deeply the mind and body are tied together, and how progress in one so often depends on healing in the other. It's what she hopes to bring to every client: the sense that taking care of your body is never separate from taking care of your whole self.
Outside of coaching, Allison is always looking forward to and planning her next trip. She loves to appreciate the typical sunny California weather by going to the beach and reading. She'll also happily admit to a good reality TV binge when she needs to unwind.
Allison works with clients across a range of goals and experience levels, though she's especially drawn to clients hoping to use fitness as part of their healing journey, clients managing stress and burnout, and anyone looking to build a sustainable, lifestyle-focused approach to fitness. Her hope for every client is simple: that they leave feeling stronger, steadier, and a little more at home in themselves, whatever that looks like for them.
