Dr. Matt Eichler is a Doctor of Chiropractic, health and fitness coach, movement educator, former competitive Men’s Physique athlete, and lifelong athlete with more than a decade of experience helping people improve the way they move, feel, perform, and live.
Matt’s interest in health and performance started long before he entered healthcare. Growing up in Michigan, he competed in football, basketball, and track and was a standout high school athlete. He set multiple school records in football and track and won a state championship in the 100-meter dash.
That interest in athletics and human performance led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biochemistry from Saginaw Valley State University. He later earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2014.
During that time, Matt also became heavily involved in strength training and bodybuilding. From 2013 to 2017, he competed in the NPC Men’s Physique division during the early years of the sport. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of strength training, physique development, nutrition, fat loss, and the discipline required to make significant changes to your body.
For more than a decade, Matt has practiced chiropractic primarily in the Tampa Bay area. Throughout his clinical career, he has worked with thousands of patients across well over 100,000 patient visits. His patients have ranged from people dealing with chronic pain and physical limitations to athletes and active adults who simply want to keep doing the things they love.
That experience has had a huge influence on the way Matt coaches today.
He believes health is about much more than simply being free of pain or disease. It is about having the physical capacity to meet the demands of your life. That philosophy is behind a few principles he has repeated throughout his career: Movement is Medicine. Fitness is Healthcare. Strength is the Cure.
Matt doesn’t believe people should spend their lives dependent on treatment, jumping from diet to diet, or following training programs they could never realistically maintain. His goal is to teach people how to become stronger, more capable, and more confident in their own bodies while developing nutrition and training habits that actually fit their lives.
